Everything you need to know before you buy
At Olaps we specialise in premium pre-owned MacBooks imported from Europe: MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models, professionally tested, graded A and warranty-backed, so you get genuine Apple quality at 30–60% below the price of new.
Because a MacBook’s real health is in its battery cycle count and display, every unit we sell passes a 12-point inspection (battery cycles and health, screen, keyboard, Touch Bar/Touch ID, ports, thermals, storage and performance), is documented, and can be inspected before you pay — pickup in Nasr City, Cairo, with Alexandria on request.
Apple range explained
MacBook Air — the thin, light, silent everyday MacBook. The M1 and M2 Air deliver superb battery life and performance with no fan — ideal for students, writers and professionals on the move. Explore the MacBook Air line.
MacBook Pro — the performance MacBook for designers, developers, video editors and photographers. M1 Pro/Max and M2 Pro/Max deliver desktop-class power; 13″, 14″ and 16″ sizes. See the MacBook Pro line.
Intel vs Apple Silicon — Intel MacBooks (A1708, A1989, A2159, A2251, A2338) offer great value; Apple Silicon (M1, M1 Pro/Max, M2, M2 Pro/Max) offers dramatically better speed and battery. For most buyers today Apple Silicon is the better long-term choice; Intel is the budget entry into macOS.
Mac mini & iMac — Apple desktops for a home or studio setup, when portability isn’t the priority.
How to choose the right MacBook
If you need maximum battery life and portability for study, browsing, office work and writing, choose a MacBook Air (M1 or M2). If you do video editing, 3D, music production, software development or heavy multitasking, choose a MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro/Max or M2 Pro/Max chip and 16GB+ unified memory. Prefer Apple Silicon over Intel where budget allows, and check the storage — 256GB is fine for cloud-based work, 512GB+ for large media libraries.

Should I buy an Intel or Apple Silicon (M1/M2) MacBook?
